The Blue Vase

I am choosing this oil painting titled The Blue Vase by painter Paul Cezanne. Rather than representing the flowers in bloom, Cezanne was more focused on the colors and lighting of this painting. About ten years prior to him creating this painting, he produced many still lives of flowers. For this photo, he did the same thing but added some apples on the table. He once said, "I'm giving up flowers. They wither too quickly. Fruits are more reliable." I really love the pop of colors and I can't wait to attempt to recreate this.
