I chose this image to try to be different and steer clear of many of the other things going on in our world today. However, this is still a prominent issue. This image shows a human, us for example, wearing a gas mask. On top of the person shows a city, producing copious amounts of chemical and smog. I think this image is very prevalent today because we as human are one of the biggest creators of pollution, and we are allowing ourselves to live in this environment without change. I thought this image also stood out because tot eh left of the gas mask, it looks as if there is a skull. This references how our everyday actions are harming us, potentially leading to shorter lives.
