"Pay Up or Shut up" constructed by an artist named Shepard Fairey, was made out of stencil, silkscreen and collage on a canvas. This artwork in particular caught my eye because it reveals a very harsh truth of what money can do in the United States of America. All Americans have the freedom of speech but this artwork in particular is revealing that the more money you give or have the more free speech a person can have. The hand covering the mans mouth is suppose to represent the United States of America which is holding back his freedom of speech. This artwork is very powerful.
