Barack Obama had picked an artist named Kehinde Wiley to portray him in a painting. The painting is so realistic. It is amazing what an artist can do. The background of this painting represents many aspects of Obama's life. African blue lilies represent Kenya, where his father was born, the jasmine stands for Hawaii where Obama was born and chrysanthemums which are the official flowers of Chicago where his political career began and where he met Michelle Obama. The meaning to this piece of artwork makes me love the painting even more. My eyes go to all different places on the painting because of all the bright amazing colors.
