Francis Bacon, Study of a Bull, 1991
This piece, by artists Francis Bacon, was located in a private collection and is now recognized as the last painting done before Bacon's death. Bacon is known for his raw imagery and his depiction of friends and religious symbols. Bacon's work contained geometrical shapes but the focus of the painting is usually an imperfect form of an object/person. His combination of precision and creativeness with shapes was interesting to see from piece to piece in combination with the color he used.
