Vik Muniz
This image of Vik Muniz's work is from a series of large scale trompe l'oeil pieces where he takes glittering scrap metal to create photorealistic collages. These metals come from car doors, bed springs, sheet metal, rivets, and gears. After creating these works, Muniz then takes photographs of them and presents them as his final work of art.
