In the article, "A Houston Homeowner Is Uncovering a Painted-Over Sol LeWitt on Her Wall—but She Doesn’t Own It," a woman discovers was is known to be a drawing of a conceptual artist in her own home. Like any art lover, she tried to uncover or "un-erase" this art piece. It was what was left of or the remains of what used to be a conceptual work by Sol LeWitt that was hidden various coats of paint on a wall,
Wall Drawing #679. And although the this woman owned the house, she did not own the painting (the pigments of the wall, not the work). What I like about this article is that they talk about this work as an idea or concept, a sort of instructions left by LeWitt on how to execute the piece.
