Sol LeWitt

I really liked this article because it was fascinating that an artist's work had been hidden for all these years. It must have been even more fascinating when the family friend brought a knife to uncover the Sol LeWitt painting. I find myself thinking how they are going to uncover the rest of the painting without damaging it. It is interesting that Hitchcock's mother doesn't own the painting but the wall that is keeping it hidden. I liked this piece shown above because to me it is symmetrical and organized but has different colors to keep it alive. The colors Sol LeWitt chose to use are bright but at the same time a calm tone, which is something that I admire.
