Picasso: Tête de Femme

The piece selected is called "Tête de Femme" which means "Head of a woman". I like this art piece because it really captures a female like figure. There is no great detail but the use of shapes in a somewhat abstract way brings the picture together. The piece was created in 1962 and was a rendering of Jacqueline Roque. The use of the different colors allows us to see two different heads in what may look like a kissing motion. The effect Picasso created with this piece was very innovative and phenomenal by Picasso.
