The painting is by Jack Whitten who is an African American artist from the south, who moved to New York. The painting is untitled. I like this painting because it shows to faces but it is very abstract. I like all the colors that were used and they he kind of hid the faces in the painting. I like the way he used the colors. Nothing is consistent throughout the image. I really like how it pops.
