This piece by David Hockney is called "A closer winter tunnel, February-March, 2006. I chose this piece because it is a multiple canvas painting. I thought it was very interesting that he used more than one canvas to create this work. This 6 part painting was not painted in a studio but on the spot moving from one canvas to the other. This work is very vivid and realistic. There are no signs of revision or hesitation. I think this is a great piece of work. I like how every canvas just flows with the other ones.
