This drawing by David Hockney is called Vandalized Totem. It was made in November 2012 with charcoal. I picked this piece of his because I like how simple it is.It is impressive to me that he did this in charcoal, when I first looked at it I thought it was drawn with a pencil since the lines are very thin and seem to be clean. David was a big contributor in the pop art movement. In 2017 he had an exhibition at the Tate Britain, this was also when Hockney turned 80 years old. Overall I think Davids artwork is nice but he is definitely not my favorite.
