This linocut is called ''The Painter and the model'' and was made in 1965. Picasso made this image to depict his own life as an artist. Picasso was known for his love of feminine beauty and the image may have been how he envisioned himself painting his artwork. I liked this because when i first saw it, it made me think. I wondered why he drew her in that context and what the meaning of the pic was. After i did research, it started making sense and i saw the pic in a different light.
