This piece is called, "The Sermon on the Mount," which was painted by David Hockney. This piece in unlike most of his other work. It's very soft and light, which is what I like about it. It's also really cool that this painting is scene that has been painted many times before by many people. Every depiction of this historical scene is a little different, but they're all focused mainly on a similar set-up. This painting gives a slightly different perspective than most others that I saw, which is another reason that I like it.
