Leonardo Drew

Leonardo Drew is an artist living in Brooklyn, NY. He is known for recycling his artwork and keeping certain works in a constant state of incompletion. He feels that turning old works into new ones is just like what you do in life - ''as life goes on you're layering things that you're experiencing.' His work consists of natural earth-made materials like wood made into sculptures by using processes such as oxidation, burning, and decay. He also uses processes such as etching, lithographs and paper making. I think it is interesting because he reuses simple material and turn them into a unique artwork that tells a story.
