Leaonars Drew is an artist from Williamsburg, NY. He creates sculptures from natural materials in which he oxidizes, burns, or decay. This piece above is called ____ and is made by burning wood. I really enjoy his art. It’s something interesting that I’ve never seen before. I think it really mirrors where he lives in Brooklyn. It’s an urban environment and reminds me of the oxidized and burned materials he uses.
